I give this book 4 out of 4 Stars. This book is a never put down book. It will have you going until the end because of how much excitement and adventure that goes on in this book. It's about a girl named May Amelia, the only girl in the town that is younger than 21 years old. She has a big family, 7 brothers and a Mother and Father. With her Mom pregnant, will she have a sister or another brother. My favorite part was when May Amelia got chased by the bear up a tree. If you like adventure then this is your book.

May Amelia has just turned 12 and wishes for a girl. May Amelia gets hurt in a trap. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes adventure. This book is so amazing you will want to read more Jennifer L. Holm books.
