A 12 year old boy named Nick is wanting to play summer baseball but his grades aren't good. Nick is getting made fun of because he is not striking out people. I connect with this book because I got made fun of because I couldn't throw a football right. I recommend this book because I love sports and Mike Lupica writes all good books, even The Million Dollar Throw. This book is just right and you might like it too.
