Kit's surprise was somebody knitted her a new dress for Christmas. My favorite character is Ruthie because she was being a good friend to Kit when Kit didn't like her dress and Ruthie said she liked it. I liked the part when Kit and Ruthie went to the movies because Ruthie was a really nice friend. This book reminds me of when I got a surprise and the surprise was a Hello Kitty blanket and a bunch of clothes and a tea table.
