This book is about floods and how and why they happen. This book is also water and drains. It was interesting to read about the flooding in the corn belt of the United Sates in 2008. In Cedar Rapids, Iowa 24,000 people had to leave their homes. Read to find out if rain and snow melting can cause flooding. Or if all water causes flooding.
