In the story The Big One the main character is Joe. He loved fishing but his family does not like fishing. That made Joe disappointed. After that he asked if his dad can go on an ice fishing trip. He thought his dad would make an excuse and say no or go to his brothers basketball game but his dad went fishing with him. On the trip Joe starts feeling mad at himself for making his dad come. Read to find out if anyone gets a fish. Read to find out if his dad liked the trip and what the big one is! Also I thought Joe the main character would be the dynamic character and change. Find out why I was wrong!
