Making Stories with Jeff Kinney by Alice Cary

Non-Fiction
5 Stars

This is a Non-fiction book all about Jeff Kinney. Some things I learned were.  If you do not speak english, you can find one of Jeff Kinney's books in 35 different languages. When Jeff was a kid, he had his sketch book stolen from his brother and his brother sold his pictures for a quarter a piece.
His first book, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, was published in 2007 and became a best seller. The book Diary of a Wimpy kid has a main character named Greg and the book is his actual diary. To get his ideas for his books, Jeff sits under a blanket to write.
I used to think Jeff Kinney was just a writer but now I know what he does is a lot more. He is an entertainer for kids, makes movies, and writes and draws books. The author wants you to understand that sometimes you have to try many jobs before you find one that you really like. Jeff Kinney tried out many jobs. He wrote crossword puzzles for newspapers, he was a computer programmer, he created video games, and he tried to be a cartoonist before he decided to be a writer.
