Ordinary Magic is about a girl named Abby who finds out she's an ordinary girl instead of a girl with magic powers like most people, and she has to go to a special middle school for Ordinarys where she will learn how to survive. But Abby must leave her parents so she can live at the school.
Alexis is my favorite character because she is always there for her little sister Abby. Also because Alexis works for the king. Alexis is also a powerful girl because her magic is so strong.
I liked the part when Abby was trying to get away from two kidnappers named Trixie and Barbarian Mike. You should read this book because it has adventure, magic, and if you think about it, it kind of teaches you life lessons in it. This book makes me think about when I'm in school and I have councilor and we talk to us about what to do when someone tries to kidnap us.
