This book is about a 12 year old boy named Frankie Joe who has to stay with his father and step family for 10 months because his Mom is in jail. He can't say anything nice about a lot of people but that could change as he tries to fit in. My favorite character is Frankie Joe because he fights through everything that goes on at home. He has a lot of courage and is smart.
I like the part when a strange man starts to talk to him. Then the man says "I'm your Dad." He has never met his Dad before.
If you like Catch the Flag you will like this book. This book will make you feel expressive. If you have common things going on at home like in the book you will like it also. This book reminds me of my dog that had to go to the pound cause she bit someone and I did not see her for a long time like.....

Eve good recommendation. It is so powerful when you can relate to a book and understand how a characters feels. That is what reading is all about outside of learning new information.
