Tricia and her brother Richard live on a farm in Michigan with their Grandma. She knows how to make the best chocolate cake, and tells stories that they believe to be true. Tricia knew what to wish for when Grandma told her, when you wish on a shooting star it will come true. She was jealous of her older brother Richard. He could do everything she couldn't do or everything better that she could do. She wanted to wish to be like him and do everything he does better. Read to find out if this wish comes true.
My favorite character is Tricia because she doesn't like her bother doing everything good, that she can't do. This books reminds me of my own brother. If you have an older brother or sister you wish you could be like then read this book!
